Tumbling down the wall

The dusk accompained by downpour as we neared our destination.  Allinated to the environment, yet the  people there were welcoming and  perfectly hospitable. Reached  Bumdeling,Trashiyangtse(eastern Bhutan) for the very first time. An excursion during 2nd semester to  Rigsum Goenpa, a monastery in the hills. We halt our nights at Bumdeling Lower school. It was after supper, I went out for toilet with a friend of mine (Praba). He was fiddling his cell phone and I proceeded further. We went behind a concrete building. I sensed a drainage and a flower garden along.  It was pitch dark. Blindly I jumped over the garden and took a step..... Accidentally I tumbled down the wall. I just felt goose bumps as I rolled down. Praba hurriedly followed behind me. I was already at the bottom of the wall. He was giggling, looking at me with his deemed cellphone light. Police Youth Partnership Program

Police Youth partnership Program (PYPP) is one of the noble initiatives commenced under the command of the former chief of Police(Uncle Chief) Brigader Kipchu Namghyel, in association with the youngsters of Bhutan. We were 50 in number and handful of friends were already  known to me.  The program started sometime at the end of December, 2010 continued for about two weeks. We were guided and supported by police personnels and officers.  I could still remember officers  Dasho Karma Tshering ( SP), Major Sonam Tshering and Le

Democracies are mostly revolutionary yet Bhutan's journey on the newest form of governance has its peculiar relentless evolution, since the founding of Bhutanese Nation state in the medival times, religious era. Perhaps Bhutan officially embarked on the path of Democracy in 2008 after a century long under kingship.  Prior to the birth of democracy, Bhutan underwent peridiocal transition of polity sytems beginning religious community to elosicratic society to regionalism under different  regional governors (dzongpoens and penlops) until the centralization of power in one hand, the establishment of monarchy in 17th December 1907.
