Why I became Vegetarian?

I actually decided to abandon my old consumption habit on  15th September, 2013 during one of the advocacy program which took place from our college till TrashiGang. I was asked to join the program representing one of the clubs called Y Peer.
We were engrossed in uprooting marujuna plants along Kanglung-Trashing highway. After walking for almost 22 KMs, a delicious lunch was served. I chose vegetable item that time. Prior to my new habit I took all sorts of meat items including pork as my favorite one.
After few months of joining College I had terrible experience of Boils on my butt. It recurred again when one got healed. In fact a patch of boils used to ruin me constantly. I was supposed to perform a class dance for Fresher's Nite but I couldn't.
Likewise I was also exempted from participating in hostel Boedra competition.New comers were compulsorily asked to dance as a girl wearing all possible female attires and in fact the make ups. It was quite ridiculous to think off but I managed to accept anyhow. A couple of days ahead of the competition, patches of boil began to assemble again. I was exempted then.
It was really a painful experience which have been with me for about a year. I tried squeezing it myself many a times it appeared.  It irritates me constantly affecting my progress in the College.
It was really frustrating and painful pinch in my life.
For several times I called mom and informed my mates as and when the boils recurred.
Once I approached a doctor mentioning the frequent issue. He squeezed and  directed me with some tablets to get rid of it. I found myself getting relived before the completion of antibiotic course and left out the remaining pills. A month later it started again. A semester end exam commenced then.
Luckily I never had to skip any of the exams It was really disturbing to have boils during examtime, especially on buttock.
I could only  remember it as a recurrent boils. I tried finding remedies by goggling and gained some of its background. I was deeply engaged skimming through online articles on it.  In fact it gave me an opportunity to do some research as well.
Anyhow no better solutions seemed neither effective nor helped me throw it off completely.
I just had one and only resort to stick on. To stop consuming meat items. Thereby I adopeted a VEGETERIAN life. Perhaps I would like to have mentioned  other opinions on the effectiveness on being vegetarian. Only my opinions no intentions to offend the flesh lovers.

As final sun sets at Peak of Learning, my attachments grew more. Perhaps I am certain that  memories be only a priceless moments and a best storyteller.  I felt no more butterflies in my stomach, in fact I never wanted to leave the place. Anyhow  my gadget have enough college photographs saved for future rememberance.   The College gate with western architecture painted in Bhutanese traditional style stands in its unique identity. Perhaps the Institute founded sometimes in late 1960's is  nearly fifty years now  and in span of few years ahead,  it's Golden Jubilee, Fifty years anniversary will be celebrated.  Magnificent Clock tower attached with Auditorium is functional for differnet occassions acomodating few hundered people. Rada Nyekhang

I was born in the spring of the wood  Dog year 1994 in a ramshackle nearby Rada Lhakhang.  The Lhakhang, also known as the Rada Nyekhang, is located in Gangthangkha, at the heart of  erstwhile  Wangdue town. Just beneath the Lhakhang is the district court. Whenever I visit my home, my mother prepares a bottle of locally brewed wine(ara) to be offered as serkyem ( Ser means  gold and Kyem refers to beverage)to appease our deity Ap Radap . She insists me to visit the Rada Nyekhang to seek guidance and blessings of Ap Radap , as I was born a\nd brought up at Wangdue. My childhood was mostly in the woods of Cypress near the Lhakhang, playing in the dust, says my mother. Renovated Lhakhang  Ap Radap was revered as a deity by the reincarnation of Chana Dorji, Mondey Phurpa.   Mondey Phurpa accompanied  Ap Radap to  Radagang ( Rada Nye ), located at Sha Khotokha .  Early stories of Ap Radap dates back to the times when he was born as ...
